What to do in case of sudden injury to the body

In case of sudden injury, that particular part of the body becomes swollen due to excessive pressure.  The problem with this type of injury is usually called a soft tissue injury.  Trauma is pain caused by changes in the position of muscles, bones, joints, nerves or ligaments in the limbs, waist or other parts of the body.  Someone can also get a head injury, which can lead to both external and internal damage.  The type of treatment varies from place to place.  All injuries can be significant.  But head injuries are always more important.

What happens if you get a sudden hand-foot injury?

 The injured area becomes swollen

 There is severe pain

That part turns red and stays hot.  It is the result of an accident, injury during sports, sudden muscle strain, or slipping of the foot.  And these are the reasons for soft tissue injury.  If the severity of the injury is high, the bones may break.  If there is a suspicion of broken bone, X-ray must be done and if necessary, treatment should be taken.

What to do in such an injury

Apply ice on the affected area for 15-20 minutes.  Wrap the affected area with ice inside a wet towel.  If it gets too cold, remove after 3 minutes.  Wipe with a dry cloth and wrap again for 12-14 minutes.  When the affected part is swollen, wrap it with crab bandage so that it does not swell anymore.  Elevate the affected area with a pillow or something else, so that it stays along the heart.  In this case light exercise, light massage, ultrasound therapy will help reduce the pain.  The patient has to rest for 7-8 days.  Care should be taken so that the patient does not get injured again.

If the pain is not good, other treatment including physiotherapy treatment should be taken on the advice of the doctor.

What to do in case of sudden head injury

Accidental head injuries can happen to anyone.  For example, a baby can fall on its lap and get hit in the head.  In road accidents, especially motorcyclists, the risk of head injury is high.

There may be other injuries with the patient having a head injury.  For example, he may have a cervical injury to his neck.  His lumbosacral coma could be a spinal injury.  In that case his movement must be very limited.

In the case of a patient with a head injury, the first thing to check is whether he is breathing properly.  If breathing is not good, see if there is any obstruction in the nose-mouth.  If it is seen that blood is coming out from the head, the place should be closed by pressing.  Excessive stretching of the unconscious patient may result in neck injury.  In that case, he should be taken to the nearest health center.

Symptoms of a head injury include headache, nausea or vomiting, dizziness, convulsions, fainting, blood clots under the eyes, black eyes, etc.

 Advice in this regard

Many people think that a head injury is death.  This is not the case, but as soon as possible, the level of injury can be reduced by diagnosing and treating the injury through examination.

In some cases, after a head injury, the patient appears to be seemingly healthy, but later the condition can suddenly become complicated.

 If you have back pain

After getting back pain, sneezing or coughing will cause back pain.  Back pain spreads to the legs and often the pain is felt only in the legs, not in the waist.  Walking or working increases pain, and sleep may be disturbed at night.  Many times the patient feels tingling, numbness and weakness in the legs.  Some patients will feel pain when their waist is bent to one side and if they lie on their back and raise their legs.

In this case, lifting heavy objects and physical exercise must be stopped.

If the cause of such an injury can be properly treated, then the pain will go away quickly.
