According to the Fisheries Department, the government has imposed a 75-day ban on all types of fishing in the sea every year to increase the country's fishery resources. A 75-day ban has been announced from May 20 to July 23 this year. As a result, fishing in the sea is currently closed.
Jailer Shah Alam said, "We are not affected by the assistance provided by the government." I have been unemployed for 10 days. Right now I am struggling to make ends meet. I don't know what will happen the rest of the days.

In this regard, Barguna District Fisheries Officer Biswajit Kumar Dev said that there are a total of 26,026 registered fishermen in Barguna. During the ban, each fisherman will get special VGF rice at the rate of 6 kg in two steps. Already 15,026 metric tons of rice has been allocated for distribution in the first phase. Distribution has ended in many unions. The rest of the rice will be distributed quickly.
