It's hard to keep your eyes on your phone while working. If desired, office work notifications coming to smartphones can also be seen on Windows computers. And to view Android phone information in real time on Windows PC, Microsoft's 'Phone Link App' will be required.
First of all two apps are required
Two apps need to be downloaded to connect the phone and computer.
For this you have to go to Microsoft Store from Windows computer. From there you have to download Microsoft's Phone Link app. And on the other hand, for Android phone, you have to download the link to Windows app from Google Play Store.
After installing the two apps there are two things to do.
1. Phone notifications must be enabled on the computer.
2. Link to Windows app and Phone Link app must be updated to the latest version.
How to do it
Launch the Phone Link app from the computer.
Select the Android checkbox and click on the Continue button.
A URL will be shown on the computer to download the Link to Windows app on the Android phone. Click on the 'Yes, I finished installing link to Windows' button there.
In the Phone Link app, you will get two options to manually pair the phone with the Windows device. The task can be done manually or by scanning the QR code.
Go to the menu and select the 'Open QR Code' option. After that, you have to click on the Continue button from the link to Windows app on the phone. Accept the request from the phone and click on the continue button. Tap on the 'Right' option on the phone. Now when you start working on the computer, all the notifications of the phone will be seen there.
iPhone can also be connected using Phone Link app on Windows computer. However, the scope of receiving iOS notifications on Windows computers is quite limited.
