Debris is being moved, bodies are coming out

The number of dead in this earthquake of magnitude 7.8 is increasing greatly in both countries.  According to Turkish and Syrian government estimates, the death toll by the end of the first day was over 2,500.  On the second day, that number exceeded 6,500.  And yesterday this number exceeded 11 thousand.  With the number of dead bodies, the cries of bereaved people are increasing;  The suffering of people who lost their homes is also increasing.

In such a situation, the country's president Erdoğan visited the earthquake affected areas of Turkey yesterday.  Yesterday he went to Kahramanmaras town.  Rescue work was going on there.  As he spoke to reporters, ambulances rushed past him with sirens blaring.  Erdoğan admitted to reporters that there are difficulties in carrying out rescue operations.  This problem is due to the breakdown of road and air communication systems due to the earthquake.  However, the speed of rescue work will increase with time.
